Favorite Trips Taken by Ruth and Glenn
(Not in chronological or preferred order)

  1. Speaking trips to every state, except Maine and Delaware (all with Ruth). And, we have been to those states too. These trips included a cruise to Alaska and three trips to Hawaii).
  2. Italy (with Dan)
  3. Western Europe (England, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany and France with Andrew)
  4. Greece and Turkey and four Greek Islands (with Connor and Judy)
  5. Eastern Europe (Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungry, Slovakia, Poland, East Germany, Czech Republic) with Judy)
  6. Portugal, Spain and Gibraltar (with Austin)
  7. Caribbean Islands – Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao  (several trips with…Jeff and Sally, Fenders and Alfonsos)
  8. Pacific Northwest (Washington and Oregon)
  9. Traced the Lewis and Clark expedition route
  10. North Central States (eight states with Dan and Andrew)
  11. Southwestern States (three states with Connor and Austin)
  12. Southeastern States (six states with Connor and Austin)
  13. Northeastern States (all of new England with Audrey and Ardyn)
  14. South Central States (four states with Basshams and Myers)
  15. East Central States (four states with Basshams and Myers)
  16. Mexico (with Shercks and Badgers)
  17. Mexico tour for Enrique’s wedding
  18. Summer teaching (16 years) for the Navy in CO, CA, RI, MD, FL, IN (with whole family). Eight summers in Annapolis).
  19. Far East- Japan, China, Philippines, and many Islands (two tours in the Navy)
  20. Europe- Scotland, England, Ireland, France, Spain, and Cuba each time (two tours in the Navy)
  21. Driving to and from OH / CA (with Jeff and Jay)
  22. Driving to FL (thirteen trips with Ruth, to date, while retired)
  23. Driving to AZ (with Ruth and Orville)
